Old School RuneScape bingo events
Run your bingo entirely from Discord
YABET keeps the whole event where your clan already lives. Players sign up and submit their drops with a Discord command. Progress on skilling and boss tiles is pulled from Wise Old Man on its own. No spreadsheets, no forms, no accounts for players to create.
Only event organisers need an account.
How it works
Four steps, and three of them happen without anyone leaving Discord.
-
1
An admin builds the board
Create the event here, lay out the tiles, set the points and the dates, and connect the Discord server it runs in.
-
2
Players register in Discord
One slash command with their RuneScape name puts a player on a team and enters them into the Wise Old Man competition for the event.
-
3
Drops are submitted in Discord
A player posts the screenshot with a command, picks the tile it claims, and the submission lands in the review queue with the message it came from.
-
4
Admins approve, boards update
Approve or reject from one queue. Tiles are complete, points are awarded, and a daily summary is posted back to the Discord channel.
Only admins register
Every player-facing interaction is a Discord command, so a player's Discord account is their identity. There is no sign-up required, no password to forget, and no link to chase down.
- Registration and team assignment through a slash command.
- Drop submissions as screenshots, attached to the tile they claim.
- Standings and daily summaries posted back into the channel.
Tracked automatically
Tiles that are really just numbers going up do not need a screenshot at all. YABET creates a Wise Old Man competition for the event and polls it, so XP and kill counts tiles take care of themselves.
- Participants synced to the Wise Old Man competition.
- Metric gains polled through the event and rolled up per team.
- A summary of the day's progress delivered every night.
